Finland: Conclusion
Even though Finland is a beautiful country with an even more beautiful landscape, I would not want to live there…In the winter at least.
We went there for work, so between 8 am and 5 pm we were inside working on the software/integration with only a small break to go outside.
This is quite normal you would think. But since the sun only starts to show itself around 10 am, and starts to go down around 2:30 pm, it effectively means I didn’t see the light of day for about 2 full weeks.
Of course I am still interested to experience Finland during a more relaxed period (hopefully also in the summer).
And on the bright side. We did get to make a snowman, while the Netherlands didn’t have snow this year, at all.
