Puzzling Scores on Code Project

As I stated in a previous post, I was planning on releasing a new Code Project article. Even though simple, I still think it is very useful for a lot of people.

However, the day after release I already got two ratings of three stars, which was quite disappointing. But now, after a few days, scores get higher and higher. I’m not sure what the reason for this is. Maybe the “fast raters” only look at the length of the article, or it is just a coincidence after all.

It is also quite remarkable that the new article already has a lot more views than the previous one, while having a lot less downloads.
